since the waiting part of adoption requires lots of patience, and since we've established that i have none, i've decided i need a project. when we were adopting jack, i was in law school (don't try that at home, kids). therefore, i had no time to fret over the little things that come with adopting.
this time around, no such luck. not that i want to go back to law school, but i'm thinking i need something to keep myself occupied. here are some of my brainstorms:
-start a blog (oh wait, i already did that!)
-be a partner in a dot-com start-up
-try out for the dallas cowboy cheerleaders (i've been watching too much CMT lately)
-learn Einstein's theory of relativity
-invent something cool to help moms remember things better. i forget, where was i going with that?
-paint my house (don't tell Mike--he's tall so he has to paint the part next to the ceiling)
as you can see, i have a lot to choose from. the cool thing about having more time this time around is that i've met lots of cool people that are also adopting. that's one thing we missed the first time around, so i'm grateful to all my new friends!

Are you taking votes? Cuz I'm voting for the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader project!! haha! Although, I don't think that would be a very kid-friendly project!!
So how are those projects going?! Is the house fully re-paited yet??
:)
Are you still going to be able to make it to our shower? I so hope you are! I want to introduce you to adoption friends! (and maybe we should start planning another coffee date)
